An upper level trough axis will swing through the region this morning with rain showers likely, and mixed precipitation for northern areas. In the wake of this vigorious disturbance, the air mass is rather mild so the weekend looks unseasonably warm with temperatures into the 40’s. A strong cold front will begin to approach by late Sunday, poised to bring a much colder air mass into early next week.
