“American Chopper Biker Build Off” fans had a few things to say about Jesse James’ loss and Pauly’s win last night. According to Screen Rant, “American Chopper” delivered it’s first live show in its history last night and the bikes in this “Biker Build Off” contest were as different as night and day.
Jesse James bike was a road-worthy bike, one that didn’t need a refill of gas every 10 -20 miles due to a small gas tank like Pauly’s “Biker Build Off” winner. Pauly’s bike was breath taking in looks, new and innovated, nothing you’d see come off an assembly line. Examiner asked the question- Did the right bike win the “American Chopper Biker Build Off”? The fans answered and you’d be surprised at some of the comments.
The fans of this biker build off contest were split on the decision. Some thought the right bike did win, while other’s thought it was Jesse’s bike just because it was the only bike in the competition that would stand up to the road. Some thought that Pauly’s bike was new and exciting and Jesse James built more of the same thing. Others said that Pauly’s bike was all show and not something suitable for riding, while Jesse’s would go the distance.
Here are a few of the of the comments from Examiner readers and “Biker Build Off” fans:
K.A. wrote: “Jesse’s bike was something Paul did 10 years ago. Ridiculous how Jesse talked so much smack and how much his bike sucked.”
J. V. wrote: “I’m a Jesse James fan–but let’s be objective here–the right bike won. In essence–what this television special was–is a televised “bike show” where the judges are the viewers. Therefore–any participant in the competition with half of a brain would realize that it would be a smart idea to create a “show bike” to have a good shot at winning.”
J.J. wrote: “The original concept of the bike build off was you buid a bike in 3 weeks , RIDE IT to a central point , usually a rally. and then the people would vote and judge. If this was used Jesse James would have been the only one who even qualified. Jr’s bike was a nice show bike , but ALL SHOW , i have no doubt it would fall apart on a 500 mile run.”
A.M. wrote: “so do I carry my gas in a back pack? 10 mile gas tank? Jesse built a bike, like it or not….. Paul Jr. built a trophy, not really a bike built to ride every day.”
N.K. wrote: (about Jesse’s bike) “same old same old loks like a 100000 other bikes.”
P.C. wrote: “and i guess new school is a themed out bling machine, where you smell like exhaust after you get off?”

Some of the comments had to do with the design of Pauly’s bike exhaust system and the proximity of the lethal fumes to the rider.
