Ladies, how many of you are sick of receiving messages on social networks from men with the social I.Q. of a toaster who attempt to start a conversation with you by saying, “Hi, ur cute?” Now guys, it isn’t that our egos don’t munch that compliment right up, it’s that any woman with a decent looking profile picture inevitably gets flooded with messages from men attempting this approach.
Frankly, if you are a single male whom I’ve never met, and you message me on a social network, I assume you did so because you thought I was pretty. Yes, it’s true that if the guy telling us that we are cute is ridiculously hot himself we tend to let it slide, but even then most of us demand that a guy at least project the illusion of caring about us as a person.
As flattering as it is, women crave more conversational content than how good-looking we are, and how much you’d like to get in our pants.
