It seems as if ‘Dancing with the Stars’ head judge, Len Goodman, hit the nail on the head last night with his critique of Nancy Grace’s instant Jive performance. “You’ve had a kind of Cinderella story here. You’ve come to the ball but it’s midnight and time to go home,” Goodman stated. Nancy Grace indeed went home on November 8, 2011 and she was forced to give up those glass slippers.
Goodman was criticized as being rude to Nancy Grace with his critique but in actuality he was responding to a statement that Grace herself had made earlier in the season. “I feel like Cinderella that got invited to the ball. I don’t know how to dance,” Nancy Grace said of being asked to compete on season 13 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. “I don’t know what I’m going to wear, but I know I have been invited!” reported People.com.
Yes, Grace was invited to the ballroom and despite low scores and harsh critique from the ‘DWTS’ judges she was saved from elimination by adoring fans for eight long weeks. Those adoring fans realized that the semi-finals were upon us and there was no place in them for Nancy Grace. Grace received the lowest overall score and was announced as the latest celebrity contestant to be voted off of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ during the November 8, 2011 results show.
Grace graciously conceded stating, “I am so proud, but I really cannot take the credit. You know what, it’s been all Tristan from the get go,” Grace went on to thank the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ crew and family members who “came out here to watch the twins so that I could dance.” Nancy Grace also thanked her many fans for their support and also for the home-made gifts that they sent her twins.
With the elimination of Nancy Grace we are left with our four ‘Dancing with the Stars’ semi-finalists. The semi-finalists are listed in no particular order.
