Even though “Jersey Shore” is at its core all about eight Italian-Americans going out and having a good time, one of its stars is wishing that the show would at least try to show less of the “party” lifestyle that has become synonymous with the program.
Speaking in a new interview with GQ, here is what the reality star had to say:
“I wouldn’t show as much drinking and partying. I would show more of us chilling out and having a good time —which they don’t show.
“We don’t even drink those nights, but we laugh all night. They don’t show anything but us drinking and hooking up.”
Is Snooki right in any way? This is a difficult one. While we agree with her in that it may be frustrating, the show’s drunken antics are the reason for its audience — while we do love to see the fun moments such as Pauly D dressing up and Snooki turning the kitchen into a jungle, you have to mix it up.
What do you think about her comments?
