There is a shift occurring, a new paradigm emerging and new resolutions are warranted as we face the 2012 Mayan calendar and silence those Nostradamus predictions. It is a time we are being called into our greatness and our New Year’s resolutions should support it.
We’ve all heard the buzz, that on December 21, 2012 the world will end, or a major part of earth will be destroyed. These doomsday predictions are based upon the 5125 year Mayan calendar ending on the notorious date, 12/21/12. Others remind us that Nostradamus predicted cataclysmic events caused by a celestial body, like Planet X or Nibiru, passing too close to earth (even I wrote about this in my third suspense thriller, A Matter of Degrees).
I say it’s time to shift our perspective on 2012.
I do believe that there is something to 12/21/12, and it is about the end, but not the end of the world. It is about the end of an era and the rebirth of humankind’s spirituality or spiritual evolution. I mentioned in my earlier post, the meaning of 11:11 is about new beginnings. Humanity is in a time of rebirthing, shifting, and transformation. We are evolving as a species on a physical and spiritual level.
We have a choice. We can sit back, watch, fight it, resist, and stay in the old paradigm. Or, we can say yes to what’s emerging and take off.
If we say yes, we will witness the rebirth of humankind, from being a three-dimensional being to one evolving and living the Christ Consciousness. The great wayshower, Jesus, told us that one day, humankind will do the things he did. He taught us that the human race would evolve and be capable of doing even greater things (than he did). The period we are living in is about metamorphosis and this type of change will be accompanied by anxiety and confusion. It is the lack of clarity which can keep us from our soul’s purpose, which is to influence this great paradigm shift.
As I approach 2012, I have surrendered the old New Year’s resolutions I usually pledge. Gone are my promises to exercise more, eat right or lose weight. For 2012, I’ve developed New Year’s resolutions to support the 2012 paradigm shift and the reason I have chosen to be here.
In 2012, I promise to:
- Perform random acts of kindness and smile more
- Practice mindfulness and be in the moment
- Meditate daily with a commitment to go deeper
- Release my attachments to the world
- Love more (including myself)
- Continue the art of circulation, the flow of giving and receiving
- Recognize the divinity in everyone I meet
- Forgive everyone
- Express gratitude for being
- Daily affirmative prayer and treatments
Through adopting spiritual resolutions and contemplating the changes we need to make, we recreate the emerging self, much like the caterpillar emerging from the cocoon into the chrysalis.
Remain open to what’s happening within, and say yes. Turn inward and recognize the truth that we are not human beings, but spiritual beings, and God is within each of us and not some bearded white man in the sky keeping a score card.
With any change there is fear, resistance and unease. No matter what we experience in 2012, whether it is struggle, challenge, or even mayhem, these events will cause us to choose. By being spiritually centered we will have the clarity needed to determine whether we live as the human being we were born, or morph into our greatness, and fly.
For those searching for their purpose in life – this is why you have come here. Now is the time to raise the consciousness of the planet. It is your time.
Fly, baby, fly!
