Goodwill is one of Columbia’s thrifty fashion shopper’s favorite places to find incredible bargains. Those who love o search them out always seem to find a treasure or two. On Monday, December 19, everything – yes, everything – in Goodwill will be specially priced at 50% off to help with holiday shopping. All fashions and accessories, shoes and handbags, winter coats, lingerie, dressy and formal wear, children’s clothing, fashion jewelry and much more will be half price. On top of the one dollar rack sale going on, this will be a tremendous savings. This is happening at the Goodwill thrift store at 9630 Two Notch Road. The store will be closed from 4:00-5:00 P.M. to prepare and the Monday Madness sale will be from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
The dollar racks can also help thrifty fashion shoppers earn a little extra money by purchasing name brand clothing in mint condition, such as Tommy Hilfiger and Lauren jeans, Ralph Ann Taylor Loft and Cato tops, and Coldwater Creek casuals and reselling them on eBay or at your local consignment shop for much more than you paid. Some items are actually donated brand new and have store price tags attached. These are perfectly good for gifting during the holidays and throughout the year.
At the Goodwill on Two Notch Road there is nice selection of formal wear and bridesmaid gowns in assorted sizes. You will also find a nice selection of leather and faux leather jackets for men and women. There is a large selection of handbags, including a few Vera Bradley and Worthington styles and a huge bin of new and “like new” plush animals for the little ones, many with tags attached.
