The OG white/cement colorway of the Air Jordan IV will be making a comeback in 2012. Originally released in 1989, the last time this variant of the Air Jordan IV in store shelves was a retro in 1999, which is quite the feat in this day and age when Jordan Brand releases colorways of their legacy shoes practically every week. As is the case with retro releases with early year Jordans, the Nike Air branding on the heel of the shoes is replaced with the Jumpman logo.

It was in these shoes that Jordan made that memorable shot over the Cleveland Cavaliers during the NBA Playoffs that Craig Ehlo probably still thinks about to this day. Poor guy played as good a defense as you could on that shot and Jordan still made it. Sucks to be Cleveland, and it doesn’t even have to do with LeBron James (for once).
The white/cement retro of the Air Jordan IV is scheduled to drop on February 18, 2012. No price has been set, so stay tuned in the coming weeks as the date gets closer.
