Melodic pop-rock band, The All-American Rejects, have never really not embraced their popular appeal, but they’ve nbever been quite so productive with the power that comes with it as they have been this past week. The band who gave us the dysfunctional love anthems “Dirty Little Secret” and “Hope It Gives You Hell” are strutting back into the limelight as they prepare the release of their 4th studio album due out Spring 2012. In anticipation of the album, the band released a new video for the first track “Someday’s Gone,” and made the song available as a free download on December 6th, 2011. Fans can view the video on the band’s official site now, or to the left of this article. The All-American Rejects included this explanation about the process of creating the video in a note to their fans:
“We wanted to give fans an early candy cane for the holidays and this song is the teeth of the record. The video directed by Jon Danovic was conceived in one day and shot the next day in one take. Hope it bites you and gives you a mark.” -Season’s greetings, The All-American Rejects.
Additionally, on December 10th the All American Rejects have just launched a brand new layout of their official website, www.allamericanrejects.com. Fans can explore the new site for all things Rejects, including a welth of content from their past albums and of course all thelatest Rejects buzz and 411. Along with their revamped site premiere, the band has now released their first album teaser called, “Talking to the Water,” a cinematic, black and white video narrated by frontman Tyson Ritter, and includes scenes of him on a beach and inside the studio with a full orchestra.
