Just in case you are still reeling from the season finale of “American Horror Story” on Wednesday night, we have a bit of news to report on when it comes to the future of the show moving forward.
Speaking in a conference call Thursday, executive producer Ryan Murphy confirmed that neither Dylan McDermott or Connie Britton will be back as series regulars next season — and that the entire setting will be different this time around:
“The second season of the show will be a brand new home or building to haunt. It will also have a new overriding theme.”
In addition to this, Murphy made another surprising announcement — although there will be some returning actors, they are not going to be taking on the same roles:
“There will be familiar faces and some new faces. [But] people that are coming back will be playing completely new characters.”
