This holiday season, I come, bringing gifts of all that is green, holistic, & love filled in Los Angeles.
While searching the cupboards of our whimsical city, I stumbled upon a big box of Captain Holistic Crunch. So I poured myself a bowl of “In the Moment of Now’s” Cofounder, Mr. Luke Eriksen.
Luke, a Vermont native, who has tumble weeded across the states and found his way to where he now takes up residence in LA, is a definite up and coming spiritual teacher and leader in our community. Not to mention he is also co creator of a clothing line, a photographer, musician, writer, entrepreneur, all around artist, and if you can believe it – yes, even an ex race car driver.
I had a chance to have a pretty in depth conversation with Luke, about his life, his essence, and what he’s up to now.
Like most of us, Luke has had trials in his life, been knocked down, overcome obstacles, odds, & toxic ways of thinking.
Experiencing many things he came to a turning point in his life, where he was feeling unsatisfied. So he turned the corner on his path to do what he was called to do. To be “In The Moment Of Now”, not claiming ultimate enlightenment or accomplishment, but a commitment to hold a space of love, truth seeking, and inspiration.
Hence “In The Moment Of Now” was birthed with Co Founder Konrad Fitzgerald
“In The Moment Of Now” – appears to be evolving as many things, “High Vibrational Lifestyle // Clothing – Blog – Publications” is how it reads on their twitter page.
Using images, quotes, writing pieces, both borrowed from like minded visionaries, and created from their own souls, “In The Moment Of Now” generously shares with and inspires their community, simply because they care.
One thing that I found to be true about Luke when talking with him is how easy it seems to be for him to be loving, confident in his thoughts, yet at the same time completely receptive and humble.
It’s a pretty beautiful balance. The same balance you might find on a breezy summer day where the wind takes up residence on the surface of lilac petals, soft enough to touch, but light enough as to not oppress them, or achieving the perfect complimentary amounts of hot cocoa to marshmallow, eggnog to rum, cookies to friends and family around the holidays.
Luke’s not the type of guy who would come out and say these things, in fact he is quite modest, but when truth is present, you don’t have to say it you just experience – “In The Moment Of Now”
Order an “ITMON” T-Shirt for friends and family this holiday… or me.. ;)
Live Holistic Los Angeles, and check out “In The Moment Of Now” and Luke Eriksen, but be prepared to be inspired
