If you care about Sarasota’s animals this should be of interest to you… and for once it’s an event being held on a Saturday, when the majority of working people can actually attend! Here’s the scoop we received (BOLDING and emphasis on SRQ meeting is ours):
Dear FloridaAnimal Advocates,
Please join the ASPCA, The Humane Society of the United States, GREY2K USAand fellow compassionate Floridians at one (or more!) of our upcoming free seminars in Effective Animal Advocacy. We’re going to be hitting seven Florida cities between November 28and December 7and we hope to meet you in person. These events are great for networking with others who care about animal welfare—no previous experience in this field is required!
We look forward to discussing the strategies that help get good animal protection laws passed and negative bills defeated. We’ll also provide you with information on issues of particular interest to Florida residents and update you on the key actions taken by state and federal legislators earlier this year.
