Bachelorette couple Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their 18-month relationship. The couple’s rep confirmed the split to Us Weekly. Martinez and Fedotowsky had planned a 2011 summer wedding, but it was postponed when Fedotowsky sustained an injury to her leg.
“Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez have ended their relationship. As they go through this difficult time, we ask that you respect the couple’s privacy.”
Roberto Martinez, a 28-year-old insurance agent, popped the question to Ali Fedotowsky, a 27-year old former Facebook employee, now a TV personality, during the finale of sixth season of ABC’s The Bachelorette in 2009.
The Bachelorette couple, stressed by long, hectic work hours, were prone to big-time fights.
An insider says:
“Their relationship has been tumultuous since day one. They’re either extremely happy or they can’t stand each other. The bring out the worst in each other. She’s miserable in the relationship and he is too.”
