This Sunday afternoon at 2 PM the Denver Broncos with Tim Tebow look to add the Chicago Bears minus Jay Cutler as another victim en route to their taking full control of the NFL AFC West division.
During the halftime break, make your way to the radio and turn to station 92.1 FM (DenverHispanicRadio.com) for a nice conversation with Denver amateur standout Manuel Lopez conducted by Spanish speaking radio personality Luis Canela.
The interview gives insight into the plans of Lopez that includes his fast approaching attempt to earn a spot on the 2012 USA Boxing Olympic Team, as well as his mentioning his dad Manuel Lopez, Sr., and mom LaVon being the biggest supporters and mentors leading to his becoming a top amateur boxer as well as a man.
In attendance for the brief interview were Manuels’ mom LaVon Lopez, Spanish interpreter Aurelio Marinez, and Stephen Blea, Manuel’s Denver Police Brotherhood Boxing coach.
