Canton Charge Sets Opening Day Roster
The Canton Charge announced Wednesday that they have waived forward/center Marcus Hubbard due to personal reasons. The opening day roster now stands at 10 players as the Charge tips off their inaugural season on Friday, November 25th at 7:30 p.m. against the defending NBA Development League Champion Iowa Energy at the Canton Memorial Civic Center.

The stage is set for a grand opening night that will give the hometown crowd the BEST fan experience in the NBA D-League in front of a local, national and international TV audience. Under the leadership of head coach Alex Jensen, the Charge will officially tip off the 2011-12 inaugural season against the NBA D-League defending champion Iowa Energy as a new era in Canton sports begins.

Holding court as they will for every game this season will be popular Cavs in-arena host Ahmaad Crump along with mascot Sir C.C.
A special halftime act will feature a Cavs and NBA favorite, Red Panda Acrobat—the incredible Krystal Niu.Riding a seven-foot unicycle, Niu kicks several bowls at a time into the air, landing them in an ever-growing stack on her head. She holds the Guinness World Record for this act that leaves audiences breathless every time!
After the final buzzer, kids (18 and under) can make their way to the Charge court for postgame free throws— something they can look forward to after all Charge weekend home games (on Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
