BREAKING: ORLANDO, FLORIDA— Never before disclosed details of Casey Anthony’s psychological profile while awaiting trial for the murder of her daughter Caylee reveal yet another bombshell accusation against Casey Anthony’s embattled father, George Anthony.
During an interview yesterday with Dr. Phil McGraw, host of the nationally televised Dr. Phil show, the lead prosecutor in the case against Casey Anthony revealed that the defense’s claim that Caylee accidentally drowned in the family pool in June of 2008 were untrue, based on Casey’s own words despite the defenses claim of such during the course of the trial
More shocking, during the course of her psychological evaluation, which was done to determine whether or not Anthony was fit to stand trial, Casey Anthony claimed that not only was Caylee’s death not an accident, but that the toddler was murdered by Casey’s father, George.
The bombshell revelations were revealed as McGraw interviewed Jeff Ashton about the details of his new book, “Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony.
According to Ashton, Casey Anthony originally told the psychologists during the course of her evaluation that she woke to find Caylee gone on the morning of June 16th and after searching for her daughter throughout the house, she found George Anthony holding a lifeless Caylee in his arms near the family pool.
Anthony goes on to say that George’s clothing were only wet from the chest area up, proving that he did not enter the pool but became wet while holding the toddler underwater until she drowned and that there was, in fact, no way that Caylee could have climbed into the pool herself.
Although no details were disclosed that would have indicated a motive for George Anthony to have murdered his only grandchild, Casey Anthony claims that together, they conspired to cover up the crime.
Ashton states emphatically that the claims against George Anthony hold no merit and that the story was yet another of Casey’s lies.
The prosecutor believes that Caylee died at the hands of her mother and that Casey Anthony intentionally drugged and then suffocated her two-year-old daughter with duct tape so that she could live life free of the responsibilities of motherhood.
Ashton’s theory is evidenced by the tattoo Casey Anthony got shortly after Caylee disappeared which said “Bella Vita” or “the Beautiful Life”.
Casey Anthony remains in hiding in an undisclosed location as the result of death threats made against her.
So far, there has been no formal comment on the part of George Anthony regarding the latest revelations in the case.
