To ring in the new year, the W. Dale Clark branch of the Omaha Public Library is offering their building as a gathering place for viewing the great fireworks show held in downtown Omaha on Saturday night..
The light show, which is always amazing, happens just after 7 p.m., tomorrow night- Dec. 31, 2011, and will be best viewed from the library’s east windows or steps leading to the entrance. Patrons can view from outside, from the first, second and third floors of the library. The fourth floor, which is usually closed off to the public, will be available for elderly and disabled onlookers.
The library will extend their hours to 8 p.m. for viewers of the show and parking is available on-or-off street around the library located at 15th and Douglas Streets.
Bring your family and friends to the best show of the year and make sure to make the library your spot to sit and take it all in.
