*Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Kick-Off Training Run – January 7, 2012
The Steel City Road Runner’s Club (SCRRC) has organized the Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon Kick-Off Training Run. The event will be hosted by Gilda’s Club. Participants can choose from a 2, 4 or 6-mile run, starting from Gilda’s Club on Smallman Street.

*5th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership and Diversity Awards – January 13, 2012
The 5th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership and Diversity Awards will be held at the Heinz Field East Club Lounge on January 13, 2012. The event will be hosted by Coro Pittsburgh and is the organizations main means of fundraising.
The event includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a keynote speaker.Tickets are $100.

*Pour for a Cure – January 26, 2012
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Young Professionals Board will host the 2nd Annual Pour For a Cure in the Trib Total Media Hall of Fame Club at PNC Park, January 26, 2012.
The event includes beer sampling, food, entertainment, and an auction. Tickets are $40 when purchased in advance, $50 at the door. Reduced-cost “Designated Driver” tickets are available for $20.
