With Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood keeping the CMA Awards 2011 moving at a brisk pace, the big winners on the night were mostly the familiar faces we’ve gotten most accustomed to seeing—artists like Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Sugarland, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and of course Taylor Swift.

It’s always difficult to pick out a best performance in an awards show chock full of them, but probably the most memorable performance was when Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and Vince Gill got together on-stage and performed a medley of songs in honor of Glen Campbell, the beloved country singer that’s now battling Alzheimer’s disease.
He was clearly moved by the performance, as were most viewers in the audience (and surely at home).
Faith Hill also performed “Come Home,” a performance that, in gauging some fans’ views, appears to have been a little hit or miss. Some are just happy to see Faith Hill on-stage once more, while others may have found flaws in Faith’s vocal performance.
What are your thoughts?
As for best dresses, well, they were everywhere. From the red carpet to the stage, there’s nothing I can do that can help you visualize the gowns that hit the CMAs. So why not take a look at the photo slideshow to your left, where you can see what Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill and more wore to the awards show.
You can also check out the video to your left, which features music and media consultant Bruno del Granado breaking down everything that went down at the Country Music Awards.
