What do Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Michael Dell, Mark Cuban, and Mark Zuckerberg have in common?
They all are college dropouts.
What do Simon Cowell, Peter Jennings and Richard Branson have in common?
All of them never went to college.
Though unfortunately today, 99% of the kids are being told: In order to live a wealthy, prosperous and successful life you have to go to college.
A high government official has recently stated that graduates that belong to four-year colleges are earning twice as much as the students who have just passed high school. College graduates earn an estimate of $1 million more. This is one statement that we come across often and almost every time from the college owners and government officials. However the statement is true, but is lacking some salient facts and concealed realities. This is the reason we advocate that college is a scam and its degree is not worth its cost.
Plenty of renowned and accredited scholars, academic analysts and education counselors have challenge the above mentioned statement from a state’s official and have proven why million-dollar comparison is baseless and misleading. These people explained that students who go to college are naturally different from other students – more disciplined and smarter. They have done better at their high school and are able to achieve milestones at their college too. These candidates would have made such excess money even if they dropped their college. What we understand here is the fact that college has no or very little part in those excessive earnings the intelligent and smart students are making. It was their innate skill and academic and professional life struggle that has made them earn relatively more.
Some of these education counselors or consultants claim that several college students do not get what they have paid for. It is often because of the fact that the professors are given less incentive to teach; yes, of course in terms of salary. We think that we are paying them to attend classes and be with students in classroom, but every single hour that professors spend in the classroom rewards them with less than they deserve. Incentives are only applicable these days for the research work. And sad is the fact that every research work is based on obscure topics for journals that nobody even care to read.
Moreover, hundreds of candidates those are not well capable of studying college education are also pushed into it. That results in no good for them. These students count them among failures when they fail to graduate. 40% of the students that enter the four year graduate program do not earn their bachelors degree even after six years.
However, the bitterer question is that why on earth do these colleges accept such candidates easily in the first place. Academic analysts respond to this query as, ‘Because money comes along with every candidate and why on earth any college would want them to miss their thousands of dollars businesses’.
So facts are here and your kids and their future are there with you! Make a better choice to make a difference for their lustrous future and further life.
