Temperatures this morning in the 40s will not do much better this afternoon with highs expected to climb into the upper 40s. This can largely be thanked to cloudy skies and cool northerly winds. Rain will fall especially during the morning hours but most of it will be confined to areas south of Interstate 80. Tranquil weather will return Friday through Monday before our next shot of rainfall comes Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
