‘Dancing With the Stars’ 2011: Scores, judges’ comments – November 21, 2011 — Season 13 of Dancing With the Stars has reached its final round. Three pairs performed two dances each Monday night for a shot at the “coveted” mirror ball trophy. How did the pairs do?
This week featured the “Freestyle” dance in which the professionals are free to choreograph a dance where any style, or combination of styles, goes. Lifts and other tricks are not only allowed but encouraged.
Below is a recap of each pair; the dance style the dancers performed; and the scores they received. Scores are listed in the following order of judges: Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli. Samples of comments from the judges are also included.
Couples are listed from the lowest scoring pairs to the highest. When there is a tie in the scores, the couples are listed in order of performance. Leader board totals are listed after the individual dance scores.

Both Cheryl Burke and Derek Hough have won Dancing With the Stars multiple times before, but pro dancer Karnia Smirnoff has yet to clock a win. That, and the fact that Mr. Martinez is a veteran, may work in their favor with viewers who are voting. However, the contest is still up for grabs as it enters its final night.
Tuesday night marks the final night of Season 13. During the special two-hour program, Lady Antebellum will perform; the dancers will compete again; and the winning couple of Dancing With the Stars will be announced.
The two-hour finale begins at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
