Four teens have been arrested for underage possession of alcohol and drugs after Cedartown police initiated a traffic stop for defective equipment in the area of Thompson and Rock Street.
Michaela Dawn Bailey; of Cedartown, Austin Tyler Sellers; of North Carolina, Benjamin Hugh Chapman Jr.; of Cedartown and Brian Alexander Jones; of Cedartown were arrested and charged with underage possession of alcohol and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. All four teens were 18 years of age.
In addition to the above listed charges, Michaela Dawn Bailey, was also charged with felony possession of hydrocodone and possession of drugs not in original container.
Chapman, the driver of the vehicle was also cited for defective equipment.
Sellers and Jones were released the same day after bonding out through the Cedartown Police Department. Chapman and Bailey were released today.
