When Hope Solo was eliminated on “Dancing with the Stars” earlier this season, she did not exactly get the same opportunity to speak out as some of the other contestants. Her press tour was cut out entirely so that the focus could be on the finalists, and she was too emotional to speak with most reporters following her actual exit from the show.
During Tuesday’s episode of “Anderson,” however, Hope finally speaks out — and she now admits that she was not exactly prepared for the reality TV element that is the show when it comes to her being “cast” to play a part:
“I was told I had too much muscle and I was too intense and wasn’t very dainty. Well, hello — you cast a female professional athlete! Help me get better as a dancer. There’s no hard feelings at all. I understand that it’s television.”
Hope also said during the interview that she and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy did have a great relationship — even though they were seen butting heads from time to time.
Are you happy she is finally getting a chance to speak out?
