Is the Duchess of Cambridge pregnant? Today, it was confirmed that Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are to move into a larger apartment in Kensington Palace, most recently occupied by Princess Margaret. It had always been understood that they’d need a larger apartment, especially after starting a family.
According to “The Sacramento Bee,” the new apartment is expected to be ready by mid-2013.
Kate Middleton’s body language suggests she is pregnant
But now, pregnancy rumors are flying around in earnest. When attending a UNICEF event in Denmark last week, nobody noticed right away that Catherine was frequently touching her tummy, a classic body language trait of the mother-to-be. More noted for her characteristic hair-touching, this is a new development that’s drawn attention.
The news leaked out by way of a UNICEF worker, and the pictures do indeed seem to confirm it.
The Duchess of Cambridge also declined to eat peanut paste; pregnant women are frequently advised not to hedge their child’s chances of being allergic to peanuts by eating peanuts during those crucial nine months.
Duchess of Cambridge gives knowing look to Prince William
Now, “The Daily Mail” is even saying that Kate grinned at Prince William, with a “knowing look,” while so declining. An aide has confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge does not, herself, have an allergy.
It’s also been noted that Catherine, far from wearing her usual body-hugging outfits, chose a claret-colored coat that was a size too large.
Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge moving into larger Kensington Palace apartment
In October, Prince William reportedly said he was looking forward to parenthood, and Kate is reportedly “keen” to start a family too. It’s now a year since the couple got engaged, and even the succession issue is on the way to being sorted out.
Chances are that, by the time William and Kate show themselves at Sandringham on Christmas Day, any secrets being hidden will be impossible to hide any more.
