The internet has gone into overdrive with rumors of a report that Beyoncé has given birth to a baby girl named Tiana May Carter.
The report, which has neither been confirmed nor denied by the star or her husband Jay Z, but has been picked up by The Huffington Post, The Hollywood Reporter, Yahoo News and Allhiphop.com among other news sites.
The Love on Top star is said to have delivered her first child at New York’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, in a private suite which is reportedly equipped to deliver three babies and house up to 12 family members.
Singer Alicia Keys gave birth to her and producer / husband, Swizz Beats son at the same hospital in 2010.
Of course, there has been no official comment from Beyoncé, Jay-Z or the hospital as of yet.
Bey shocked the world when she arrived at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet wearing a bright orange Lanvin one-shoulder wrap dress which accentuated her belly. Following her performance the Love on Top star solidified the announcement by rubbing a pronounced baby bump.
Her pregnancy has been one the most closely followed news stories of the year. In October, the Queen of Pop sparked rumors that she wore a prosthetic baby bump after her stomach appeared to collapse as she sat down on live Australian TV. At the time of the incident, Bey’s representation fiercely denied suggestions that she wears a prosthetic bump.
A spokesperson for her camp told ABC News that suggestions about her donning a fake belly were ‘stupid, ridiculous and false.’
Fake bump enthusiasts suggest that JayBey hired a surrogate to carry their child, and that Mrs. Carter is faking her pregnancy in order to capitalize on future weight loss endorsements. Take a look at her developing bump in the slideshow to your left and decide for yourself.
In any event, a new member will be added to the Knowles-Carter clan soon. Sightings of Bey’s mom and sister, Tina and Solange Knowles, out and about with her nephew in New York fuel reports that baby Carter will arrive any day now.
