Josh Krajcik has a long line of fans already anxious to buy his first album, but for now they have to settle for his performances on The X Factor. This week is all about giving thanks on the show, and Krajcik had a lot on his mind. Of course two performers will be sent home Wednesday night (airing on channel 10 in Scottsdale), and Josh is doing his best to make sure he’s not one of them.
This week, Josh Krajcik is dedicating his song to his daughter, Rowan. He says he was just 17-years-old when she was born, and they are incredibly close. She says she feels lucky he is one of her best friends, and he says that he probably would have given up on singing without her. The song he is singing this week is one that he has been singing most of Rowan’s life, and talks about how hard it is for him to be away from his daughter. Rowan says that he is one of her heroes. She says that watching her dad live out one of his dreams shows her that anything is possible.
If you missed Josh Krajcik’s performance of the Rolling Stones’ “Wild Horses” on The X Factor this week, you can watch it in the video on the left-hand side of the screen. It was a fantastic ending for Tuesday night’s show, as he blew everybody away once again. LA Reid said that Josh has the right amount of everything: passion, authenticity, song choice, and he has everything it takes to win the competition. Paula Abdul says she always wants contestants to be bigger than the songs they sing, and Josh does that. Simon Cowell said, “That’s what it’s all about. It’s just about a great song, a great voice, and you meant every word you sang.” Nicole Scherzinger was quite emotional, and told Josh that she believes his music can change the world.
Josh Krajcik thanked the audience and the people back home who are supporting him, sharing that they inspire him to be there. While Josh seems a lock to go through to next week, it’ll only happen if his fans get their votes in for him. What did you think of his performance? Tune into The X Factor Wednesday night at 7 p.m. on Fox, Channel 10 in the Scottsdale area, to see which two performance acts are eliminated this week.
