Sunday night Kourtney and Kim Take New York premiered its second season. It should be no surprise that Kris Humphries was not happy at the way he was portrayed. What’s oddly compelling is that he watched it to begin with.
Season two opened with its highest ratings yet. Over 3.2 million viewers tuned in for a glimpse into the crazy 72 day marriage of Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian. That tops the 3 million people that watched last season.
Kris Humphries over the top wedding to Kim Kardashian didn’t make it past 72 days. Their whirlwind relationship, engagement and wedding ended when Kardashian filed for divorce on October 31st.
In Sunday night’s episode, fans were an up close and personal look into the quickly emerging marital problems. They saw Kris making fun of Kim’s weight and how much cake she ate at the wedding.
They were subjected to seeing Kris pass gas in Kourtney’s face. They even got to watch Kim hit Kris when she thought he messed up her pedicure. Really? Those are the awful problems they had?
Radaronline is reporting that a source close to Humphries said, he watched the episode in “utter horror, because it’s just not a true depiction about what was actually going on between Kim and Kris”.
Any couple who has been married for any length of time looks at the so-called problems they had as petty. Situations like don’t compare with the way she nagged him about working.
The NBA free agent was working out and practicing in the hopes the lockout would end. He wasn’t the only NBA player in that predicament. Every professional basketball player was in the same boat.
She might have been more understanding if she could have stopped worrying about herself for five minutes. Sources close to Kim are claiming she worked closely with the producers of the reality show. Her desire was to make sure that she was portrayed Ina positive light.
Unfortunately for her, anyone adult with even an ounce of common sense saw through the editing and saw it for what it was. She might have wanted Kris to come off as lazy and insensitive. Instead viewers were given a pretty good picture into the self-centered world of Kim Kardashian.
