Elizabeth wanted to get away from all of the processed foods and serve organic, homemade snacks to her children. So she started experimenting by making her own organic ice cream, marshmallows, and fruit gelatins. She wanted something sweet to stick in her children’s lunchboxes and Les Pop Sweets was born. After her children let their friends see what Elizabeth made for snacks, kids started asking their own moms for these wonderfully delicious treats. But these treats aren’t just for kids! They are decadent delights that will put any adult into a dreamlike state as well.
Let’s take a look at some of these creations:
Noah’s Chocolate Mudslide is her signature chocolate cake baked with all natural, 100% pure cocoa. The cake is delicately blended with chocolate buttercream frosting, hand-dipped in smooth Belgian milk chocolate, and drizzled with dark Belgian chocolate. You’ll definitely have an OMG moment or two! The chocolate has a rich, intense flavor similar to a chocolate liqueur. The cake itself is dense yet soft like the inside of a truffle. The Belgian chocolate is velvety smooth and effortlessly melts in your mouth. Thumbs up, way up!
Matt’s Famous Quip, “You Batter Believe It!” is her classic triple vanilla cake slow-baked and mixed with vanilla buttercream frosting. The cake is hand-dipped in white chocolate and drizzled with Belgian milk chocolate. This one falls on the other end of the spectrum for the vanilla lover in your family. The cake explodes with intense vanilla flavor. The cake’s texture is just like the Chocolate Mudslide but tastes like a vanilla truffle. The white chocolate is velvety and creamy, not waxy like your typical store-bought white chocolate. Thumbs up, way up!
A “POP” of Joe! is her signature chocolate cake infused with espresso powder and vanilla, mixed with espresso buttercream frosting and dipped in dark Belgian chocolate. It is garnished with a coffee bean, drizzled with dark chocolate and sprinkled with espresso powder as a finishing touch. This will also give you an OMG moment or two! The espresso flavor is just right, mixed with the chocolate, it’s like a mocha truffle and has the decadent quality as you would expect. Thumbs up, way up!
Green Tea is a new flavor that she has been working on. It is green tea powder added to her triple vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. If you’ve ever been to a Japanese restaurant and had green tea ice cream for dessert, it tastes exactly like this, but more silky and decadent. It retains the truffle-like interior and melt-in-your-mouth exterior. Thumbs up, way up!
Les Pop Sweets also makes customized flavors for your special event, whether it’s a birthday party, family gathering, or corporate event. See the photo slide show to see what she did for Halloween.
