Maroon 5 performed at the launch of Google Music, Google’s new online music service. The band played a full set, including Moves Like Jagger, Harder to Breathe, Makes Me Wonder, Wake Up Call and Sunday Morning. Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes joined Maroon 5 to perform the hit Stereo Hearts. Busta Rhymes, Drake and Dirty South also performed.
The Google Music launch party, also hosted by T-Mobile, was held at the graffiti-decorated Mr. Brainwash Studio in Los Angeles. Over 1,000 people attended the star-studded event, including Paris Hilton, Serena Williams, Miley Cyrus and John Stamos. Guests enjoyed several interactive music stations. Real-time updates of the celebration were on Twitter and Google+ and T-Mobile’s Facebook page.
Google music allows people to upload songs from their collections for free, purchase music, and stream it all from Android devices and the web. Through T-Mobile’s partnership with Google, the mobile carrier is offering free exclusive content from Maroon 5 and others.
