Jackson’s children Blanket, Paris and Prince appeared calm as they walked the red carpet at the opening show at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino along with “Jackson 5” producer Barry Gordy, “Babyface” and other well known celebrities.
Michael’s brother Tito told the press how he felt about the premiere. “I’m very excited. At the same time, I’m touched. There’s a little thing going on in there (points to heart), you know, for the brother thing. My brother – I don’t know if people know this about Michael, but my brother actually lived and loved what he did.”
The cost of the show that has surpassed $60 million will be running at the Mandalay Bay until December 27, in the 8,000 capacity arena that has been hailed as the biggest production Las Vegas has ever seen.
