“Hey moms & dads of New Jersey! Meet other parents who want to make friends for their young children and themselves. Moms & Dads with children under the age of 5 comprise most of our members, including many new & expecting moms. Most of our meetups take place both weekdays & weekends. Some of the communities in which we meet in and around are Weehawken, Cliffside Park, Edgewater, Fort Lee, Englewood, Paramus, Fair Lawn, Westwood, Norwood, Tenafly, Secaucus, and Rutherford. We have between 8-12 events a week on average. Together we’ve enjoyed events such as play dates at homes and parks, strolls, library times, nature hikes, fire station visits, coffee time, pool time, picnics, holiday parades, tea parties, spa mornings, game nights, evening outings, family events, community outreach, discussion groups and more.
Philosophy: We are a community of parents that communicates online, but meets actively offline with the shared priorities of Diversity, Education, Service, and Support. North Jersey Moms strive to make our group an inclusive, safe and friendly place where we and our children can come together to play and learn, share the common experience of parenthood, and support the neighborhoods in which we live.
It’s been a great three years for the North Jersey Moms! Thank you for your positive and respectful participation, your wonderful ideas and assistance and your great support of fellow members. As we enter our fourth year together, we look forward to strengthening our community and welcoming new members!
Be sure to consult the calendar regularly for recently posted meetups and message board for current discussions!”
Sincerely your directors,
Kristin, Kelly, Victoria and Rhonda

“If you sometimes feel like you’re a little too “Hip” for your mommy friends and you’re a little too “Mama” for your friends without kids.. Join Us! We can relate! :)
This is a group for moms of young children in the Northern New Jersey area.. Here hip(per) moms can feel free to be themselves and hang out other moms who live similar lifestyles.
We are great group of women with children age 0-5 years. Most of us are located in Bergen County, so many of our events normally take place there.
However we welcome members from nearby areas; we have many members from bordering counties.
The majority of our members are stay-at-home moms; therefore many of our events take place during the week. Though, we also plan various night and weekend activities to accommodate working moms and those who prefer the varied schedule of events.
We are a very active group, with at least one event planned for almost every day of the month. We try our best to plan a wide range of activities to accommodate various interests and
children’s ages – each week normally includes play-dates, park/mall walks, coffee breaks, lunches, park/playground meet-ups, toddler activities, baby events and more! We also plan at least two moms-night-out/moms-night-in per month, which allow our members time away from the kids, and also provides us with a chance to get to know each other better as individuals – not just as moms. Additionally, we plan occasional family dinners, daytrips and outings – to include the dads!”
