Because there are so many intriguing menu options to consider for your celebration, this is part one of a two-part article. The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa is offering three events. The historic hotel’s stunning Atrium Lobby is offering cocktails and appetizers with live piano music from 4pm-7:30pm and entertainment from the Danny Showers Trio at 8:30pm, and savory pancakes at 11pm. For dinner, visit the Moonlight Dinner Buffet in Ellyngton’s, for a lavish selection of seafood, salads, a carving station, and desserts, and dancing and entertainment from the John Kite Band. The cost of dining only is $76.95 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Add Domaine Chandon and the cost is $86.95 per person, Moët & Chandon and the cost is $96.95 per person, or Dom Pérignon and the cost is $216.95 per person. The hotel’s fine-dining restaurant, Palace Arms, is serving a 4-course dinner with Champagne toast at midnight for $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity, with seatings at 6pm or 9pm. Corridor 44: Champagne, Cocktails, Dining is offering Champagne specials and other treats. Drink specials at Denver’s only Champagne bar include Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial (formerly White Star) for $80/bottle; Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label for $120/bottle; Dom Perignon for $350/bottle; and Belvedere Vodka Bottle Service for $200/bottle. Table reservations after 10pm are available for $50 minimum per person and includes a gift bag from Moët Hennessey. Indulge Wine Bar is offering a 4-course wine dinner.
