For thirty years, the Twin Cities Ballet has been bringing the joy and magic of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker to Bloomington-Normal. This year, the ballet will be performed on December 2, 3 and 4 at Braden Auditorium on the Illinois State University campus.
This yearly event, which consists of local dancers and producers, brings quality ballet performances to Central Illinois audiences. The first shows, which are dedicated to introduce local school audiences to the world of dance, will take place Friday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. General public performances take place Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. Run time for each show is approximately 90 minutes.
