For anyone from the Utica/Rome upstate NY area looking to tune up their obedience or rally performances, there is an obedience and rally show and go scheduled at the SOTC building in East Syracuse on Sunday, January 1.
Entries will be taken from 8:45 until 10 am. Obedience judging is set to start right at 10 am with rally starting at 11 am. The contact person is Gail Puzon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coffee, bagels and donuts will be available to purchase in the morning to get you jump started. Fees are as follows: $6 for the first run for a dog in obedience or rally, with a second run of the same dog at $4. If the same dog runs twice but once in obedience and once in rally, it is $6 for each run.
This is the perfect chance for anyone entered in the SOTC obedience and Rally trials on January 7 and 8, 2012 to practice in the exact building where you will compete. Rings will be set up as for the trial as much as possible. Many dogs perform better in a familiar palce.
