Tonight the mid-season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead, “Pretty Much Dead Already” will air, and of one thing we’re absolutely certain: The brains are ready to hit the fan.
Watch the preview for tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead right here.
From what we can tell from the preview, we know that “Pretty Much Dead Already” will focus on the situation of Hershel’s barn. More specifically, the larger group will finally find out that Hershel and his family are keeping their undead loved ones locked in the barn, in hopes that a cure will be found soon.
Like I said, the brains are about the hit the fan.
Hershel and Rick are going to have a serious argument about the fate of the group, since it seems to Hershel like his guests are rapidly over-staying their welcome on his safe farm. While Rick seems to be willing to respect Hershel’s decision to store a bunch of zombies in his barn, the rest of his group is probably a little less understanding. Specifically, we see Shane in the preview getting a bit peeved at the situation. And by “a bit peeved,” I mean he gets his crazy on.
But there is a little bit of happiness in the next episode, as we see in an encounter between Daryl and Carol (Ok, TWD writers: No more rhyming names!). The budding relationship between the two has grown since Daryl has taken point on the search for Sophia, risking his life in the process. It seems Carol has all but given up, and is giving Daryl permission to stop looking for her daughter.
Seeing as how this is the mid-season finale, we can be assured that it will end in tragedy and mayhem.
