For Monday, November 7th 2011 LA TV Insider Examiner recommends:
2 Broke Girls (CBS, 8:30pm) – “And Hoarder Culture” – Caroline (Beth Behrs) and Max (Kat Dennings) are waist-deep in clutter when they clean a hoarder’s apartment, and Max discovers that Johnny (Nick Zano)’s been keeping a secret from her.
Gossip Girl (The CW, 8pm) – “I Am Number Nine” – Blair (Leighton Meester) makes all of her former minions and Charlie (Kaylee DeFer) compete to secure the coveted bridesmaid spots in her upcoming royal wedding. Nate (Chace Crawford) is tired of keeping his relationship with Diana (guest star Elizabeth Hurley) a secret, so he decides to use Charlie to make Diana jealous. Serena (Blake Lively)’s boss (guest star Michael Michele) is determined to acquire the film rights to Dan (Penn Badgley)’s book, so Serena must put her personal feelings about Dan and the book aside in order to close the deal.
Hart of Dixie (The CW, 9pm) – “The Undead & the Unsaid” – Driving home late one night from a house call, Zoe (Rachel Bilson) accidentally hits a man but can’t find any signs of him when she gets out of her car. Later, she sees the man’s photo hanging in the Rammer Jammer, and George (Scott Porter) has to break the news to her that the man in the picture died over a year ago. Meanwhile, Lemon (Jaime King) and George are ready to buy their dream home until Lavon (Cress Williams) steps in and refuses to authorize the purchase because it is one of Bluebell’s historic properties. Zoe’s mom (guest star JoBeth Williams) shows up in Bluebell hoping to reconcile with her daughter after keeping the identity of Zoe’s real father a secret Zoe’s entire life.
Castle (ABC, 10pm) – “Heartbreak Hotel” – During the investigation of the murder of an Atlantic City casino owner at an abandoned warehouse, strong leads emerge for the team in both New York and Atlantic City. As Beckett (Stana Katic) and Capt. Gates (Penny Johnson Jerald) work the New York leads together, Castle (Nathan Fillion) naturally chooses to join the detectives for the road trip to “America’s Playground,” hoping to help solve the case while throwing an impromptu bachelor party for Ryan (Seamus Dever). Richard Burgi guest stars as Charlie Turner, the slick business partner of the victim. Susie Castillo and Eric Ladin also guest star.
Hawaii Five-0 (CBS, 10pm) – “Lapa’au (Healing)” – The Five-0’s investigation into the suspicious plane crash and death of a customs agent takes an unexpected turn when it is revealed that the victim was dead before takeoff. Meanwhile, Danny (Scott Caan) finds himself the proud caretaker of an orphaned dog. Greg Grunberg guest stars.
