British actor Russell Brand and singer Katy Perry are ending their marriage after just 14 months. This comes as a bit of a surprise since the couple appeared to be happy in their marriage.
However, recenty the Internet buzzed with rumors about trouble for the two after they were seen without their wedding rings.
“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage,” Brand said in a statement to The Associated Press on Friday. “I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”
Divorce papers filed Friday by Brand, 36, cited irreconcilable differences. Brand and Perry, 27, were married in October last year.
