–Sean O’Haire was arrested and charged with battery in Savannah, GA last week. This is the third arrest for O’Haire on similar charges and bond was set at $1,850.
–Speaking of bond, Matt Hardy remains in jail on $100,000 bond to which girlfriend Reby Sky claims she has the money to bail him out but wants him to think about why he is in there. Well, if Reby does indeed have the money, which there is doubt, and I were Hardy I would think I was in jail because my girlfriend is very stupid. Think about this for a minute, Sky was involved in the process that helped get Hardy arrested in the first place and now she refuses to help get his release.
–Former ROH competitor Bison Smith passed away last week in Puerto Rico at the too young age of 38. Smith was well known in Japan and was making quite a career in Puerto Rico when he died due to heart complications. Eddie Gilbert passed away in Puerto Rico from the same kind of issues.
–In a move I had wondered when it would happen, Dragon Gate USA and Evolve have merged into one entity. Gabe Sapolsky is the booker for both groups and there was a talent share so the merger only makes sense.
–Rasche Brown announced via Facebook that he is no longer part of the Urban Wrestling Federation which is no loss for either side. The official reason is listed as failed contract negotiations but word from the UWF site an unwillingness by Brown to adapt to the program. Rickey Reyes has left the promotion as well and there is unrest in the locker room due to the direction of the company and the push of the hip-hop aspect. I am not sure what any of the talent expected from this group and the concept that was laid out initially.
–Want to take a minute and send best wishes to Friend of the Show Susan Green who has had some health challenges recently.

–Friends of the Show JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling), which fans of the group have been officially classified as a gang (and if you read the description of the “gang members” you would be insulted) will return to action on December 30 at The Asylum Arena in Philly.
–Angelo Mosca, a former CFL standout and one tough wrestler, had an altercation with a former CFL rival at a CFL alumni luncheon over the weekend. Mosca and former NFL quarterback Joe Kapp started throwing punches at one another after Kapp tried to offer Mosca flowers as a peace offering and Mosca would have none of it and the fight was on. This story has been all over the media…
–North Georgia Wrestling Alliance will be in Canton, GA on December 10 in a benefit for Toys for Tots. The promotion is asking for a new unwrapped toy that will benefit the children of Cherokee County and ticket prices are $7 and $3.
–There seems to be no hurry to bring John Morrison into Impact Wrestling even though Head of Talent Relations Bruce Pritchard is high on the former WWE star. Morrison is said to be hoping to land some TV or movie roles…
–Troubled wrestler Shane Helms has had his court case for DWI continued until January and he plans to do a PSA on drunk driving soon. North Carolina seems to be the place for troubled workers or maybe it is just the OMEGA curse…
–Friends of the Show Ohio Valley Wrestling will begin broadcasting their TV show on their website weekly starting on December 3, 2011.
–Speaking of OVW, Jesse Neal has said he is still under contract to TNA and his dispute with the company where OVW is concerned has to do with money. Neal stated he would have no problem going to OVW but it has to be in his best financial interest. I cannot blame him there, the WWE would pay $500 per week to most of those in OVW while under developmental contract and that was not enough to sustain themselves. I cannot imagine TNA being able to offer even that much…
–Jeff Hardy is said to be trying to work through a back injury.
