A couple of low pressure centers will keep our area wet from this afternoon through early Saturday as temperatures rebound to above normal readings once again. The area will dry out some by later Saturday night and Sunday before a strong cold front ushers in the coldest air of the season to start off 2012. By Tuesday of next week we’ll be seeing high temperatures that should stay in the teens, with a very good chance of lake effect snow as well. A significant accumulation is likely by Monday into Tuesday. Our cold extremes will be short lived as temperatures should once again rise to seasonable levels by mid-end of next week.
Today: Mostly cloudy with rain likely later in the day. Milder with highs into the lower 40’s. Tonight – rain likely. Lows in the upper 30’s. Saturday will feature rain likely in the morning, then some clearing in the afternoon with sunshine possible. Mild with highs into the mid-40’s.
