High pressure will build across northwestern Pennsylvania today. This will provide the area with sunny skies and dry conditions. The high temperature in Erie today will be in the mid 40’s.
The high will gradually move off to our east tonight. It will be clear through the evening in Erie, but clouds will begin to increase after midnight as a weak cold front approaches from the northwest. Overnight lows will be around 30 degrees with some upper 20’s inland.
Clouds and a few rain and snow showers will be possible across the area on Friday as the front moves through. It will be chilly with highs around 40 degrees.
Once this front passes by, skies will clear and sunshine will return to the area to start the weekend. Another, stronger cold front will approach the area on Sunday bringing unsettled weather back to northwestern Pennsylvania.
