New Year’s Eve, December 31st, 2011 is packed with INTENSE planetary movement. New Year’s Day, January 1, 2012 will be saturated with this energy in addition to more aspects beginning at 1:19 a.m. (all times listed are Mountain Time). Get ready!
Saturday December 31st 2011:
The Moon enters Aries at 2:49 a.m.
The Moon conjuncts (joins at the same degree of Aries) Uranus (planet of change, electricity, unconventional and unexpected) at 4:29 a.m.
The Moon squares (hard aspect) Pluto (death, transformation) at 5:26 p.m. highlighting the on-going hard aspect between Uranus and Pluto.
Mercury (communication) squares (hard aspect/challenge) Mars (aggression, action, forward movement) at 11:06 p.m.
At 11:16 The Sun in Capricorn makes the 1st quarter square to the Moon in Aries which challenges the intentions we set a week ago on Christmas Eve Dec. 24th 2011.
Sunday January 1st 2012:
1:19 a.m.: subtle creative aspect between Saturn and the Sun
8:04 a.m.: Moon sextile (ease, familiarity) Venus
9:57 p.m.: Mercury trines (uplifting) Moon….
What does it all mean?
Well, certainly if you have planets (or your rising sign) at early degrees of Cardinal signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn) it means that you have alot of intense cross-roadsish kinds of happenings in your life and the New Year is ringing in some intense emotions and psychological shifts for you.
But, everyone will feel this one somewhere in some way.
The opportunity lies in the balance between “the plan” and a fresh and new perspective. Also, consider deeply what you seeded in intention (whether you were doing it consciously or not) a week ago on the 24th. Some adjustments may need to be made or a big push forward into something much deeper than you anticipated.
I recommend not wasting this New Year getting wasted (I warn you: things could get volatile very quickly)…use the energy of this special weekend to dive into the depths of your soul’s longing. Do something that is deeply meaningful to you on the 31st and spend the 1st watching the sunrise, having a leisurely brunch with friends or in your version of play.
