An exercise in futility, Plain and simple this is what the Republican Presidential field is.Debate after horrid debate, these elite failures simply cannot give even a single smidgen of coherent public policy or ideas. Not a single plan to help our country move forward is put into the table. They continue to quack and something akin to words comes out of their mouths except it is pretty much nonsensical babbling. Let us take a closer look at this charade they call a presidential race and come to that realization that the Republican party is has become nothing more than a Koch Brother Satrapy.
The debate have been a comedy of errors. Firstly let us analyze the front runner or in other words the only with the ability to possibly get votes. Mitt Romney is a man of no conviction, Republicans used to paint Senator John Kerry as a flip flopper, but Mitt Romney is in a league of his own. One day he is a sensible pro Social Security Republican, the next day he is cutting and reforming Medicare. Romney seems to be trying to please everyone and failing miserably. The alarming thing is that was the perceived front runner. Next you have Herman Cain a business mogul who wants the Presidency simply because it seems like a wise business choice. His 999 plans reek of cheap PT Barnum commercialism and he has all the credibility of a snake oil salesman. Any push that this candidate may have must be because of the curiosity that there is a conservative black man who does not yet recognize that the GOP does not serve his kind a man who is fueled strictly by Koch money and a transparent attempt to reach out to the African American community.
Mitt Romney and Herman Cain represent the higher tier of the field. Next we have the middle of the pack, lead by a man who was at one point top dog for all but three weeks. Rick Perry has self destructed his debate style is akin to George W. Bush after taking one too many hits of Cocaine. Perry’s biggest enemy has been himself showing the cowboy crassness that simply reminds the country too much of the Texas Tyrant. Speaking of Texan Bluster we have the ever present Ron Paul. Ron Paul’s sole purpose in this election is to continue to make a mockery of libertarian political philosophy. The man who professes to follow the libertarian creed of non intervention is an anti choice candidate of all things, he is a man of contradictions and a pseudo grass roots following propelled because he hates the Federal Reserve. Then we get to Michell Bachmann, earlier in the year she was on fire. A strong Koch driven woman who was looking to wrap up the nomination. However her star has fallen and she has fallen out of favor with the Tea Party machine especially when it seemed Perry would fill that void. After all she is still a woman and we know that a woman’s place is in the kitchen according to the GOP.
The final two candidates are so irrelevant their names are not even worth mentioning. They like the GOP have faded into obscurity. There is no political party of Republican ideals, what was known as the GOP is nothing more than a vehicle to carry out the insane demands of the Koch Brothers and Corporate overlords. The candidates being fielded are out of touch with reality. Have no ideas for fixing the economy and are fixated on attacking government, while corporations the true culprits for our problems run amok. They are so out of touch that they deride the Occupy movements as nothing more than the legacy of hippies. However think what they may the GOP has itself become as irrelevant and non existent as the phantom hippies they yearn to criticize.
