Boston Metro North covers the North Shore, Merrimack Valley and Northwest Suberbs:
5 Day Outlook – 12/12 through 12/16: This weekend provided dry and chilly weather, with Saturday night being the coldest night of the season…As we move ahead to the work week, expect the sunshine and dry conditions to continue into Wednesday, courtesy of high pressure…A cold front approaches late week, bringing a chance for showers and mild temperatures Thursday into Friday…The front should move offshore during Friday, allowing for clearing skies and another shot of chilly temperatures for next weekend.
Still no really cold air in sight. Certainly not for the upcoming week or into next weekend…Expect the high readings mainly in the 40’s through Wednesday, nipping 50 degrees on Thursday and Friday. Overnight lows mainly in the upper 20’s to low 30’s, except around 40 degees on Thursday night.
No signs of a snow producing storm in the next 10 days or so. As we mentioned in our previous forecast, there are signs of stormy weather as we get closer to Christmas, but still early to draw any conclusions on exact forecast.
