The Denver Broncos are now 7-1 with Quarterback Tim Tebow as a starter this season. Sunday’s contest with the Chicago Bears in Denver showcased another Tebow 4th quarter come-from-behind victory defeating the Bears 13 to 10 in overtime.
Here’s what Tebow posted on his Facebook page soon after the game:
“Praise the Lord! Couldn’t be any prouder of my teammates for believing in each other ’till the very end. GB²”

Oren W. McClure Tim is a LEADER with purpose and believes in his god and convictions. He has life figured out and presses ahead and thank god the media is not changing him. We are thankful to have him on the Broncos just a thought Mile High Stadium is closer to God and there is no dome.
Autumn Moore Play like every quarter is the 4th quarter, and I’ll have one less heart attack each game! Thanks in advance!
Mike DiCapua Jesus Christ is Tim Tebow’s co-pilot.

Sheri Treadwell my son told me tonight as he was watching highlights of the game, that he wants to rename our dog, “tebow!”
In true Tim Tebow fashion, he waited until the fourth quarter to turn up the heat. Unfortunately for the Chicago Bears, they got burned but to be honesty, only have themselves to blame.
The second year NFL Quarterback out of Florida was only 3 for 16 passing through the first three quarters for only 45 yards and one interception. His wide receivers did drop some passes but despite that the Broncos failed to put any points on the board until late in the game. Once the fourth quarter started Tebow was on fire. The ‘Mile High Messiah’ completed 75 percent of his passes after the third quarter (18 for 24, 191 yards) including a much needed touchdown with less than 2:10 to play in the game. It was second and three on the Bear’s 10 yard line when Tebow scrambled to the right and found Demaryius Thomas in the corner of the end zone for the score.
Following the score the Broncos attempted an onside kick which failed. It looked like the game would go down as a loss but a time management error by Bears Running Back Marion Barber opened up the door for one more spell from Tim Tebow’s magic wand. With no timeouts the Broncos were able to position kicker Matt Prater within striking distance. Prater’s 59-yard field goal with :03 to go in regulation tied the game at 10.
Barber nearly redeemed himself in overtime with a fantastic catch to move the Bears into potential field goal range but soon after he fumbled the ball giving Tebow and the Broncos hope. Tebow marched the team back down the field and gave Prater a chance to seal the game and he did with a 51-yard field goal beating the Bears 13-10.
Here’s the post game interview and reaction with Tim Tebow.
Tony Siragusa/FOX Sports: Tim, please tell us, what is it with you and the fourth quarter?
Tim Tebow/Denver Broncos: First and foremost I just have to thank my Lord and savor, Jesus Christ and thank my teammates. This is just, it’s an unbelievable feeling. What an environment with these fans. I’m so proud of these fans and my teammates and my coaches. You have something special when you have a team that nothing is going right but you continue to believe and you stick together and you encourage one another and eventually good things are going to happen. I believe that we’re a team that keeps the faith and keeps believing in each other and that’s something special.
Tony Siragusa/FOX Sports:In the first three quarters you had some big drops that really slowed your offense down and then in the fourth quarter it seemed like you went on a steam roll.
Tim Tebow/Denver Broncos:I think we kept believing, we kept pushing, we kept fighting and different guys were stepping up. And D.T. was huge on that drive. Jeremiah, Eric Decker and the line was protecting great and those guys made me look a lot better than I really am.
Tony Siragusa/FOX Sports: Congratulations on a great win and doing it one more time.
Tim Tebow/Denver Broncos: Thank you so much and God bless you.
Next game for the Denver Broncos is against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots at Mile High Sunday December 18th at 2:15 MST. The Broncos are now 8-5 on the season.
