If you are a veteran searching for the perfect job, you are hereby ordered to attend next week’s Monster Virtual Job Fair to be held in cyberspace. The job fair, beginning on Monday and running through Friday is free to attend, all you have to do is register to attend, but you need to register now so you will have everything ready when the 3-D virtual pavilion opens its doors on Monday.
Register with Monster
The first step in finding your ideal job is creating a free account with Monster Military.Com. Go to the Veterans’ Virtual Career Fair login page and click on “Register.” Registering to participate in the virtual job fair is a three-step process.
After clicking on “Register” the Personal Data Dialog Box opens. The employers taking part in the virtual job fair will use this information to contact you.
After filling in all the required fields, click on “Next Step” at the bottom of your screen.
In the next Dialog Box that opens, you begin to build your online profile. Just follow the onscreen prompts. Once you have completed this personal profile page, click on “go to next step”.
Here is where you upload your resume.
Once you have uploaded your resume, click the “finish” button.
Prepare for the virtual job fair by using the tools available to you.
- First, take the compatibility tests to determine which of the employer’s virtual exhibits best suit your needs and interests. This will allow you to prioritize the order in which you visit the eBooths.
- Second, visit all of the employer’s eBooths beginning with those at the top of your prioritized list.
- Finally, explore the job opening available.
