The Festival of Lights are located in Rockford, IL at 1401 N. 2nd Street. For further inquiries (815) 965-0768. There are 50 displays in Sinnissippi Park. The lights are turned on at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The event is free to the public, you can drive your car through the park and take pictures of the lights with your family.
The display is open Thursday through Sundays, starting at 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Starting December 15th they will be on display 7 days a week. Joe Marino is the Chairman of the Festival of Lights. He also puts on the 4th of July Parade and days of celebration each year.
There are participants from all over the city of Rockford that have made the displays. This is the 23rd year of the Festival of Lights. They will also be featured in the downtown area at Davis Park this year.
