This family-friendly party kicks off at 2:45 p.m. at City Dock with the Annapolis Drum & Bugle Corps. The band will march from the market house to the main tent at City Dock, where the festivities will continue until the fireworks display at midnight. Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar:
DJ Adam “Dutch” Durham will be returning to Paladar to ring in 2012, and will be playing from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The regular menu will be available until 11 p.m., and will feature New Year’s Eve specials including: Berry Sparkling Mojito, Smoked Duck Mole, Adobo Cornmeal Crusted Rainbow Trout, and Caramelized Apple Cookies. Seatings available from 5 – 10:30 p.m. The Severn Inn may be one of the best places to view the City of Annapolis fireworks display at 7 p.m and midnight. New Year’s Eve Live Music and Entertainment in Annapolis
In addition to a booming culinary scene, Annapolis is undoubtedly known for its live music and bar scene. Sly Fox is notorious for throwing some of the best holiday celebrations on their heated patio, and New Year’s Eve will be no different. Their all-inclusive package is $50 per person in advance and $60 at the door. Price includes premium open bar from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. and a live DJ. This venue is a favorite for live music, and New Year’s Eve will feature the Grilled Lincolns and Higher Hands. There will also be breakfast at midnight and free CD giveaways. Cover is $15 per person (21 and up).
Red Red Wine Bar:
In addition to a prix fixe menu starting at 9 p.m. that includes coursed food and a bottle of cabernet or chardonnay ($100 per guest, must be booked in pairs), guests will enjoy a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and music by The Greenbeets from 11 p.m. to close.
