Now that the Top 3 “X Factor” U.K. finalists of 2011 have been announced and are headed to the Season 8 finale, it’s time to take a look at which of these finalists have the support of “X Factor” alumni. The winner will be announced on December 11, 2011.

The Top 3 “X Factor” U.K. finalists of 2011 are:

**Marcus Collins**

*Age:* 23

*Mentor:* “The X Factor” U.K. judge Gary Barlow

*Singing style: *Classic pop-styled R&B

*Most likely to be compared to: *Bruno Mars

**Amelia Lily**

*Age:* 17

*Mentor:* “The X Factor” U.K. judge Kelly Rowland

*Singing style:* Pop/rock

*Most likely to be compared to:* Avril Lavigne

**Little Mix**

*Ages:* Jesy Nelson, 20; Perrie Edwards, 18; Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 19; Jade Thirlwall, 18.

*Mentor: *“The X Factor” U.K. judge Tulisa Contostavlos

*Singing style: *Pop

*Most likely to be compared to:* The Spice Girls

Rowland, Barlow and Contostavlos are obviously rooting for the contestants whom they are mentoring.

As for “The X Factor” U.K. judge Louis Walsh, in 2011, he had been mentoring solo singers ages 25 and over, but they have all been eliminated from the competition. In an interview on “The Xtra Factor,” Walsh said Lily is his top choice to win out of the three remaining finalists: “There is something about Amelia, she is a ready made popstar. She can sing absolutely anything. This girl is a star!”

Meanwhile, Little Mix or Marcus Collins were named by most “X Factor” U.K. alumni as their favorite finalist to be the show’s winner in 2011.

Collins and Little Mix are widely predicted to be the final two “X Factor” U.K. contestants of 2011, since neither act has ended up in the bottom two of getting votes from the public.
